Who We Are
Who We Are
Christ Reformed Church is a new church plant located in Jenks. The church started in the summer of 2017 with a desire to be Christ-centered, theologically grounded, and missions minded.
We are Baptist & Calvinistic
We believe that the Protestant Reformation was a real recovery of the Biblical truth concerning salvation and the role of the Scriptures in the life of the believer and the Church. We firmly embrace the 5 Solas (Latin for “alone”) of the Reformation: Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Solus Christus, and Soli Deo Gloria. We also recognize that the Bible places a strong emphasis on the sovereignty of God.
Our Distinctives
The following is a list of distinctives that characterize us as a church.
We believe . . .
Christ is to be treasured above all things
In expository preaching and teaching

In a six literal day creation
In the inspiration, authority, & sufficiency of Scripture
Christ can be found in the Old Testament
The regulative principle (i.e., Scripture directs us in how we are to worship)
The gospel to be the power of God unto salvation
The church is to be intentional about making disciples
In lordship salvation
In practicing regenerate church membership

Believers are to devote themselves to prayer (corporately & individually)
We are to seek God's glory in all things
STATEMENT ON SOCIAL JUSTICE & MARXISM
We denounce the false gospel (Galatians 1:6-10) that is being promoted today within Christianity known as Social Justice. We also reject those ideologies associated with the social justice movement, which are referred to as: Marxism, liberation theology, progressivism (so called), critical race theory, white privilege, white guilt, intersectionality, violence, reparations, and homosexuality. These destructive heresies (2 Peter 2:1) are contrary to Scripture, they undermine the true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and are contrary to how to how a Christian should act and believe based on the Bible.
We also affirm: The Statement on Social Justice & the Gospel | For The Sake of Christ & His Church
